Menahem Breuer
Born: 30 March 1934, Eisenstadt, Austria; in Israel since 1939.
Parents: Ben-Zion Breuer, born in Sopron, Hungary, a coffee dealer;
Relly Breuer (née Rosenbaum), born in Vac, Slovakia, a creator of artificial flowers for women's cloths.
Grown up: Tel-Aviv; Bilu primary school, B municipal-religious high-school.
Music Studies: private student of Ödön Pártos, later graduated the Music Academy, Tel Aviv University.
Family: Married to Ilana (née Shofrat), on 31 July 1956; our daughters are Amit and Shira, and grandchildren are Romi, Daria and Liam.
Hobby: Astronomy.
My dream meeting: Yehudi Menuhin (1916-1999), whom I met in the remote past; and the great astronomer who discovered the planet Uranus, William Herschel (1738-1822), who was also a composer, organist and violinist.
